At every stage in our lives, there is probably a song or story or movie scene which is kinda representative of how we are feeling then.  

For me, the song that immediately came to my mind right now is HEY JUDE.  The lyrics are a great source of inspiration to me. 

“Take a sad song and make it better”, “You have found her, now go and get her”, “Anytime you feel the pain, .. don’t carry the world on your shoulders”…

Mark Joyner – Freedom Agent

I attended the recent World Internet Mega Summit, and Mark Joyner’s presentation made a huge impact on me.  His concept of “Freedom Agent” crystallized for me the vision I have been looking for all this while. 

Mark Joyner observed that as technology advances, people have more and more free time.  However most of us are trapped in the slave cycle, where our main concern in life is survival.  Every man in the street has genius locked inside him.  Unfortunately because of our entrapment in the slave cycle, we cannot free ourselves and uncover our genius.   

He made a proposition that in the future, all of us will have 100% free time.   The only way we can do this is to free ourselves, the first priority being financial freedom.  This is so that we can get out of the slave cycle and be entrapped no more in time and space. 

To realise the proposition, it begins with us.  To inspire and strive to be a freedom agent, to have full control of our time, space and destiny.  After we successfully free ourselves,  we can choose to engage in unifying social dynamism projects – meaningful work to benefit the less fortunate amongest us.

Fight for Survival at Kruger

Awesome footage captured by a tourist at South Africa’s Kruger National Park. 

Watch the fight between lions, crocodile and a herd of buffalos over a young buffalo.  Will the young buffalo survive ?  You gotta watch till the end to find out.

This is another favourite song of mine in S.H.E’s latest album.  Ella’s rap is done pretty well.  Listen to the background chorus of Hebe and Selina during Ella’s rap – the combination of the three voices is perfect…

The Most Amazing Dog

S.H.E MTV – Listening to Yuen Wei Ren play guitar 听袁惟仁弹吉他

This is the music video of S.H.E from their latest album.  The song is one of my favourites.  The title is called “Listening to Yuen Wei Ren play guitar”.  Yuen Wei Ren is a chinese pop music song producer and composer.  S.H.E is a very popular Taiwanese girl band and worked with Yuen on several occasions.

This song is written by an ex-neighbour of Yuen who was so inspired by Yuen’s music making next door, that he decided to follow in Yuen’s footsteps.  The career path of a song writer is tough, but he looks to Yuen for motivation.   This is the storyline of the video.

The skinny guy is the ex-neighbour, the plump guy is Yuen himself.  Near the end of the video, there is even the plump version of the three girls  

Enjoy the music video which is pretty funny.  Just looking at the girls, I feel proud myself – our chinese girls look so fine !  The music is great !
